Led by vocalist Mat Kerekes alongside longtime members Nick Hamm and Eric Hamm, Citizen broke through with 2013’s Youth, an album that became a modern emo and post-hardcore staple thanks to songs like “The Night I Drove Alone,” “How Does It Feel?,” and “Sleep.” Rather than repeat themselves, the band has continually evolved through albums including Everybody Is Going to Heaven, As You Please, Life in Your Glass World, and Calling the Dogs. Their new album Halcyon Blues continues that evolution, while support from Anxious, Hotline TNT, and Rocket makes this a lineup worth arriving early for.

Revolution Live is one of Fort Lauderdale’s essential live music rooms, with an intimate layout, powerful sound, and a floor that puts fans directly in front of the stage.
