Back on tour is the sensational alternative R&B/Jazz trio Moonchild! They will be performing at the Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday, December 4th with opening support from Raquel Lily.

The group was formed in a little town called Los Angeles in the summer of 2011 and consists of Amber Navran on lead vocals, Max Bryk, and Andris Mattson. To list out every instrument these three contribute to Moonchild would be redundant, as every one of them are extremely talented multi-instrumentalists, with their skills being heard on the synthesizer, flute, alto/tenor sax, drums, and ukulele between the three of them.

After touring together for Navran’s previous solo project, the trio bonded on the road over similar music tastes and spent the subsequent year writing the music for what became their debut album Be Free (2012). Since then, Moonchild has put out 4 more albums, including their most recent 2022 album, Starfruit. Throughout the album, the group shows off their musical maturity by creating a laid-back, soulful, and jazzy groove that screams West Coast sound. With Navran’s smokey, smooth, and hypnotizing voice to boot, the group has found a beautiful sound and exceeds any expectations you may have.

The group has features on their newest album from the likes of Lalah Hathaway, Alex Isley, Ill Camille, Tank and the Bangas, Rapsody, and many more. The name dropping does not end there however, as they have also toured with names like Stevie Wonder, The Internet, Jill Scott, and Leela James.
