I always make an effort to see Rebelution when they are in town. So, when I found out they were coming to one of my favorite venues, Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, FL for their only Florida show, I knew I couldn’t miss it. The venue is known for its remarkable sound and production quality, and this show was no exception. All vocals sounded crisp and clear, and the acoustics were stellar the whole night. Shows like these are why Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, FL is considered one of the top venues in the country.
As an added bonus, Delray Beach’s own, Artikal Sound System were the openers. I was ecstatic when I found out I’d finally get a chance to see them live! I have been trying to catch them on stage since they first popped up on one of my Spotify mixes years ago. They played a mix of old and new songs, including hits from their most recent 2025 album Are You Smiling Yet? They even put their own unique spin on Paramore’s “Misery Business”. Their forty-five minute set wasn’t nearly long enough. I loved every second of it, and it only left me wanting more. I highly recommend catching them at one of their four upcoming Florida dates this Fall. I can’t wait to see them headline Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale on November 9th (Tickets Here + Giveaway Coming Soon!).

By the time Rebelution hit the stage, everyone was pumped and ready for some of that roots reggae music. Opening with “De‑Stress”, the band lifted the room into good groovin’ vibes, leading us fans to dance and sing-along. Frontman Eric Rachmany’s vocals sounded incredible as he comfortably harmonized with the band’s groove-heavy foundation. There’s just something about Rebelution’s live presence that leaves you feeling happy and carefree.
Over the next hour and a half, Rebelution delivered a 23 song career-spanning set, packed with fan-favorites from start to finish. They touched on songs from their 2007 album, Courage to Grow, and their last 2021 release, In the Moment. The band took advantage of Hard Rock Live’s superb lighting and stage set up, even utilizing EDM-style lasers throughout the show. This was my first time seeing them in an indoor venue. Although it was a totally different vibe from their outdoor shows, the added intimacy elevated the experience.
It’s safe to say by the time the final notes of the encore “Fade Away” and “Roots Reggae Music” rang out, Rebelution left us feeling satisfied and elated. It’s the warmth, love, and energy this band gives off that keeps me coming back. Next time, I’m hoping to hear some long-overdue new music. Thank you to the staff at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, FL for making this experience the most magical.
