Struble’s music is uplifting and overwhelmingly positive spurring the question why is he so upbeat? “It is conscious but also subconscious—I would say it’s a little bit of both,” he said. “But essentially, making music is just what I like to do. It’s kind of a direct translation, for better or for worse, of what I’m listening to—and that [positivity in music] happens to be just a lot of ’80s pop. So, it ends up being a throwback, but I’m not necessarily trying to make ’80s music.” Dayglow’s live band performing members include bassist Peyton Harrington, drummer Brady Knippa, keyboardist Norrie Swofford, guitarist Colin Crawford.

Salt Lake City-based singer Jack Rutter was Billboard’s No. 1 Emerging Artist in March — and he uses a spoonerism of ‘Mitt Romney’ as his stage name. Rutter’s heavily auto-tuned, Indie-pop remix went viral via TikTok makeup tutorials and amassed hundreds of millions of streams on Spotify. Within three days, Rutter signed with Columbia Records. A few months later, Billboard gave him the top spot on its Emerging Artists chart.
