Lindsey Stirling Tickets Fort Myers 2022

Stirling is the trifecta of talents — she is an American violinist, a songwriter, and a dancer. As a young girl, Lindsey grew up in a modest household in which her parents struggled financially to support her and her sisters. She always had a desire to dance and to play violin but her parents stressed she could only choose one hobby due to their limitations. Even then, when she began taking violin lessons, her parents were only able to afford a violin teacher that could give her half lessons, equating to only fifteen minutes per week. Many instructors doubted that a child could learn with such limited time but Stirling persisted and continued to pursue violin throughout her life.

Her success truly blossomed in 2010 where Stirling was a quarter-finalist on season five of America’s Got Talent. Despite impressing judges, they believed her talents were more suited to be in a group rather than solo. She continued to go on and embrace her unique style of performance and promoted herself on her YouTube channel where she performs a variety of musical styles alongside choreographed performances as well as vlogs and behind the scenes footage. In 2012, her music video “Crystallize” was one of the eighth-most watched videos on YouTube.. In 2015, it was announced that Stirling signed with Troy Carter (manager of Lady Gaga) after he was impressed by her use and engagement on YouTube. As of today, she has 13.4 million subscribers.

Stirling’s style ranges from hip-hop to dubstep to classical pop and rock music – all played on the violin. She has collaborated with a variety of artists including Evanescence, Shaun Barrowes, The Decemberists, LMFAO, and more. She is the future of electronic beats where Celtic folk music and modern classical meet alongside dance and electronica. Her newest album, Snow Waltz, takes us into a winter wonderland of Christmas magic. You can expect to hear the classics such as “Sleigh Ride” and “Feliz Navidad” with an electronic, modern twist.
